Referral and partner program terms

A new customer who signs up through a referral link gets $100 off: $50 off each of their first two monthly invoices, or $100 off their first year on a yearly plan. A partner code typed at checkout takes $50 off each of the first two months, or $50 off a yearly plan. It applies only to a new HailMate workspace and cannot be combined with another discount.

• When a roofer you referred pays their first invoice, we add a one-time credit to your HailMate account equal to 3 months of the plan they bought, at its monthly price.
• The credit comes off your future HailMate invoices automatically. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is not paid out if your account closes.
• If the referred customer cancels or is refunded within 60 days of their first payment, we remove whatever part of the credit you have not yet used. Credit already applied to an invoice is not taken back.
• A customer who sends three or more paying roofers may be offered the partner terms below.

• Partners are approved by HailMate. Founding partners earn 40% and other partners 30% of the amount each referred customer actually pays us, before tax, for their first 12 months — unless a different rate is agreed in writing.
• Commission is earned when we collect the payment. A yearly payment earns the full share for that year in the month it is paid. We pay monthly by bank transfer for the prior month, after we have received a completed W-9.
• If we refund a payment, the commission earned on it is deducted from what we next owe you.
• Partners must disclose that they are paid when they recommend HailMate, must not send spam or unsolicited texts, must not bid on the HailMate name in paid search, and must not describe HailMate in ways that are not true.

• A referral is credited to the link or code used when the new workspace was created. The first one wins.
• Existing HailMate customers, your own workspaces, and accounts created to earn a reward do not count. We may reverse any credit or commission that came from fraud or from breaking these terms.

We may change or end either program with notice. Credits already applied and commissions already earned stay yours. Your HailMate subscription is governed by our terms of service.
