No. HailMate is month-to-month by default. Cancel or change your plan anytime with zero penalties — and unlike some competitors, our terms say the same thing our FAQ does. If you choose annual billing to save 20%, you prepay for the year and it renews annually; you can switch back to monthly at renewal.

The rates on this page are early pricing for the first 100 roofing companies on HailMate. Once we cross 100, prices go up for new customers — but if you sign up before then, your rate is locked in for as long as you keep your subscription. You get every new feature we ship at the price you started with.

How does flat pricing work?

One price covers your whole team up to the plan’s user limit — Solo covers 3 users, Team covers 10, Company covers 25. No per-seat fees, so hiring canvassers for storm season doesn’t raise your bill. Every user still gets their own login, phone number, and leaderboard stats.

Why flat pricing instead of per-user?

Per-seat pricing is the #1 complaint roofers have about the big CRMs — it punishes you for growing and tempts crews to share logins, which wrecks call logs and leaderboards. Flat pricing means every rep gets a real seat and your bill stays predictable.

None. No setup fee, no required implementation package, no per-feature add-ons. E-sign, texting, calling, canvassing, online payments, and the supplement engine are all included in every plan.

What does collecting payments cost?

HailMate adds zero markup on payment processing — you pay Stripe’s standard rates: 2.9% + 30¢ for cards, and 0.8% capped at $5 for bank transfers (ACH). On a $15,000 insurance check paid by ACH, that’s $5 — the same payment costs $40 on Roofr and $50 on JobNimbus, and JobNimbus marks cards up to 3.2%. Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe.
