The best storm restoration CRM in 2026

A storm crew needs its software to do two things: know where the hail fell, and run the claim all the way to paid. Most roofing CRMs do the second and know nothing about the first. Most hail tools do the first and stop at the map. This page judges six CRMs on both halves, prices each one from the vendor's own page, and says plainly where each one beats us. We make one of them, so read it the way you would read any vendor's comparison.

Just need hail maps? Start at $79/mo

A storm job has two halves

A crew that buys one tool for each ends up paying twice and typing the storm date in by hand. Judge every CRM below on both.

Where the hail fell

Street-level hail with a size on it, the storm history behind every address, and the canvassing map on top of both. Without this, the CRM starts at the first phone call, and somebody else’s app picked the streets.

The claim, run to paid

The carrier’s scope, the supplements, the checks and the homeowner, on the same record as the inspection photos. Without this, a hail tool hands you a lead and nothing else.

Four questions to ask in any demo

  • Can I see the hail size on a street — not a ZIP code, not a county?
  • Does the storm date follow the job into the claim, or does somebody type it?
  • Does my bill change when I hire six knockers for a storm?
  • What can I see before I talk to sales?
Side by side

Six CRMs, both halves, every published price

Read off each vendor's own site, October 2026. Where a vendor publishes no price, the table says so rather than repeating a number from a listicle.

Who each one fits, and where it beats us

Every competitor below is better than HailMate at something. The point is to know which something matters to your crew.

01

HailMate

$79–$499/mo

The storm-restoration CRM: the hail map and the claim on one record

Pricing
Flat per company, not per seat: $79/mo for one state and one user, $149/mo for three states and up to three users, $299/mo nationwide for up to ten, and $499/mo nationwide with 20 users included, then $20 per extra user. A year costs ten months. Month-to-month, no setup fee.
Source: hailmate.ai/pricing
Who it fits
Roofing crews doing storm work who want to find the street and run the claim in the same app, and who would rather pay one flat price than pay per seat every time they hire for a storm.
Storm and hail
Street-level hail and wind, three years of history, Evidence Grade™ verification
Insurance claims
Reads the carrier scope; tracks supplements and checks to deposit

Where we fall short

HailMate reads the carrier’s scope and tracks every supplement, but it does not write the supplement for you — CompanySync advertises that it does. The hail history goes back three years, not fifteen. There is no free trial: every plan is paid from day one, month-to-month. And Starter is one user, so a crew starts on Crew or above.

02

AccuLynx

Price on request

The big back-office platform, priced by quote

Pricing
Two plans, Pro and Elite, both priced by custom quote — neither pricing page shows a dollar figure. AccuLynx says it offers a monthly subscription option so you are not locked in.
Source: acculynx.com/pricing/plan-options
Who it fits
Larger roofing companies with office staff who want deep production and reporting tools on top of the sales pipeline.
Storm and hail
An automated weather map laid over your past customers
Insurance claims
Supplement and mortgage-check tracking on the Elite plan only

Where it beats HailMate

The office. Its Elite plan lists a production calendar, permits tracking, production and trade reports, multi-location set-up, a custom workflow manager and commissions, and both plans order aerial measurements. If your office is bigger than your field crew, it is the more complete office.

Watch out

You cannot see a price before a sales call, and supplement tracking — the claim tool a storm crew leans on most — is on the top plan only. AccuLynx describes its weather map as recent weather laid over your old customers; it does not describe street-level hail sizes or a map your reps canvass from.

HailMate vs AccuLynx
03

JobNimbus

Price on request

A general roofing CRM; the hail maps live in a separate HailTrace account

Pricing
Four plans by team size — Essentials up to 3 users, Pro up to 10, Premium up to 19, Enterprise 20 and up — and every one is a "Request pricing" button. Texting (the Communications Bundle) and the Marketing Bundle are add-ons, also priced on request. There is a 14-day free trial with no card.
Source: jobnimbus.com/pricing
Who it fits
Roofing companies that want a general-purpose CRM, already pay for a HailTrace account, and are happy to negotiate a price.
Storm and hail
None built in; an integration sends your contacts into HailTrace
Insurance claims
Insurance jobs on its pipeline; no claim or supplement tools named

Where it beats HailMate

You can try it for 14 days with no card, its plans run past twenty users, and EagleView aerial measurements order from inside the job. If you already own a HailTrace account, the two connect.

Watch out

No price until you talk to sales, texting is an add-on, and the hail data stays in somebody else’s product: the integration moves your contacts into HailTrace, not the hail into your jobs.

HailMate vs JobNimbus
04

Roofr

$0–$349/mo

Measurement reports, proposals and a CRM, at published prices

Pricing
Starter is free, then Measure+ $109/mo, Essentials $249/mo and Scale $349/mo billed monthly, all with unlimited users. Measurement reports are $13–$19 each on top, SMS is $49/mo, and the Instant Estimator and Sites are paid add-ons.
Source: roofr.com/pricing
Who it fits
Retail-heavy roofing companies that live on fast proposals and in-house measurement reports, and want unlimited users on a published price.
Storm and hail
None named on its pricing page or homepage
Insurance claims
No claim or supplement tools named; sells ESX files per report

Where it beats HailMate

Unlimited users on every plan, a free plan, and measurement reports from $13 each inside the same app. Every price is on the page, which AccuLynx and JobNimbus cannot say.

Watch out

Neither its pricing page nor its homepage names an insurance claim, supplement, hail or storm feature. For a crew whose money comes through a carrier, that is the half of the job you would run somewhere else.

HailMate vs Roofr
05

CompanySync

$99–$399/mo

An AI-first roofing CRM with storm alerts and AI-drafted supplements

Pricing
Basic $99/mo for up to 5 users, Business $199/mo for up to 10 and Enterprise $399/mo for up to 25, month-to-month, with two months free on annual billing. A $497 set-up call is extra unless you pay annually. Storm mapping starts on Business. There is a 14-day free trial with no card. Texts, phone numbers and AI usage run on accounts you connect and pay for yourself.
Source: companysync.io/pricing
Who it fits
Small storm crews that want AI estimating and AI-drafted supplements, and like the idea of a founding-customer price lock — it is running one for its first 100 companies.
Storm and hail
Storm alerts and leads by ZIP code, storm mapping on Business and up
Insurance claims
Reads insurance estimates, tracks the claim, and its AI drafts supplements

Where it beats HailMate

AI that drafts the supplement and builds estimates with Xactimate pricing — HailMate reads the scope and tracks supplements but does not write them. And its Business plan covers ten users for $199/mo, below our $299/mo Team plan.

Watch out

Its storm feature is described as alerts and lead-finding by ZIP code; the pages we read do not describe street-level hail sizes or how many years of storm history it keeps. Texting and AI run on accounts you set up and pay for separately.

06

WeatherOps

$99–$2,000/mo

A storm-restoration CRM built around live radar and roof reports

Pricing
Essential $99/mo with 50 lookup credits and 10 roof reports a month, Professional $249/mo with 250 credits and 50 reports, and Enterprise $2,000/mo through sales. A year costs ten months. The page states no user limits. The 7-day trial needs a card.
Source: weatherops.ai/pricing
Who it fits
Storm crews who want radar, roof reports and a CRM in one subscription, and who order a lot of roof reports.
Storm and hail
Live radar in all 50 states, hail and wind detection, mapped impact zones
Insurance claims
Insurance claim tracking, with supplements and payments followed through

Where it beats HailMate

Roof reports from aerial imagery come with the subscription — 10 to 250 a month depending on plan — and an AI estimator drafts the estimate from a prompt. HailMate gives an instant satellite measurement and orders EagleView and Hover reports, which are paid per report.

Watch out

Lookups and roof reports are metered by plan and topped up when you run out, and the step from Professional to Enterprise is $249 to $2,000 a month. Its pricing page does not say how many users each plan includes.

The short version

  • Want the hail map and the claim on one record? HailMate. Street-level hail, the canvassing on the same map, and the claim to paid, flat per company from $79/mo.
  • Big office, deep production reporting? AccuLynx — get the quote, and check which plan carries supplement tracking.
  • Already pay for HailTrace and like it? JobNimbus connects to it, once you have a price out of them.
  • Retail replacement, no insurance work? Roofr. Unlimited users on a published price is rare.
  • Want AI to draft your supplements? CompanySync advertises it. Ask how it shows where the hail fell.
  • Order a lot of roof reports? WeatherOps bundles them into the plan. Watch the step to Enterprise.

Storm restoration CRM FAQ

Choosing a storm restoration CRM, answered

A CRM built for roofing crews whose work follows hail and wind and gets paid through insurance claims. It has to do two jobs a general roofing CRM does not: show where the storm actually hit, street by street, so the crew knows where to knock, and run the claim — the carrier’s scope, supplements and checks — all the way to paid. Most roofing CRMs do the second job and know nothing about the first. Most hail map tools do the first and stop at the map.

Find the street, then run the claim

15 minutes, screen shared. We walk your storm, your crew and your claims from the hail to the paid claim, and tell you which plan fits.
